7 Day Bible Study on Trust -Day 1

April 1, Day 1

Trust is a word that we often use to describe how we view different people and our relationship to that person. We often trust those who have proven to be trustworthy according to our own standards.
But God’s word in Proverbs 3:5-6 (ERV) tells us to “Trust the LORD completely, and don’t depend on your own knowledge. With every step you take, think about what he wants, and he will help you go the right way.”

He goes on to tell us that He is able to do far beyond all that we ask or imagine. Read Ephesians 3:20-21, Romans 8:6, Isaiah 40:30-31 and Revelation 5:13

God wants us to come to Him with positive expectations, knowing there is no limit to what He can do. Ask the Holy Spirit to control your mind, and don’t worry about unanswered prayers because time is a trainer, teaching you to wait on God, to trust God even in the dark. Instead of letting difficulties send you into panic mode, try to view them as setting the stage for God’s glorious intervention. So wait patiently on God with trust that He will always keep His word.

Remember Trust stands for:
T is for Totally
R is for Rely
U is for Upon
S is for Spiritual
T is for Truth
