Christmas Letter

Dear Family and Friends of New Hope Wayne and Taylor,
 
Merry Christmas 2021 and Happy New Year 2022.

I wish you God’s grace and peace!
 
2021 has presented us with challenges and opportunities, due to the continuing Covid19 pandemic and its far reaching impact on all our lives. And yet, there is much to thank God for, especially His faithfulness and love towards us in the New Hope community and in our own personal lives.
New Hope Church has been part of the solution to navigate the pandemic in order to keep people safe and inoculated against the coronavirus. For over 18 months we have served as a free testing and vaccine site for all people seeking these services. People have found comfort to receive such accommodating services in our church.  
 
Also, In the midst of the pandemic, we launched our second church campus in Taylor, MI on December 19, 2021 to share the Good News of Christ.   
 
In fact, during hardship, difficulties and uncertainties we can appreciate the promises of God that He has given in Lamentations 3:22-23,
 
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”


Another promise in Philippians 4:6-7 gives us comfort,
 
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
 
We know these promises are true because we have a God who is Immanuel – God with us.
 
Christmas is a time to reflect on the birth of Jesus which shows God’s love for us.
 
Looking forward, during the Christmas and End of Year period,
