What to Expect
Visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating. We want you to feel comfortable at New Hope, where we go all out to keep you coming in. Here’s some information that should help put you at ease as you plan for your first visit with us.
What time are Sunday worship services?
We offer an early worship service at 7:30 a.m. each Sunday, after which we have breakfast in the fellowship hall. Sunday school follows at 9:30 a.m. Our late morning worship begins at 10:45 a.m.
What should I wear?
Here at New Hope, we don’t want your clothing to be a source of anxiety. While many members dress in what would be considered traditional church attire, there are a fair number of us who wear more casual attire, including jeans. In fact, we have several Sundays throughout the year where more casual dress is encouraged, including “wear your college colors” and jeans days. In the summer, we’ve even done casual dress for an entire month. In short, come as you are.
Do you have a nursery?
During our 7:30 & 10:45 a.m. worship service, our nursery is open and staffed by a team of caring Children’s Ministry volunteers for children from infants to 4 years. For our children age 5-12, we offer a Children’s Church worship service. Nursery is closed between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. for cleaning.
