April 3, Day 3
God tells us that He has promised to meet all of our needs according to His glorious riches. What we need most is God’s Peace. His peace is planted in your heart where God dwells; there are also weeds growing there too: pride, worry, selfishness, unbelief. God is the Gardener and is the only one that can erase the weeds in your heart. God works when you sit quietly and allow Him to nurture your heart and it is in these quiet times that we commune with God and He prunes the weeds. He also works in your life through trials. When you trust God in the mist of your trouble, Peace grows and weeds die. God says to thank Him for troublesome situations for the Peace they produce far outweighs the trials you endure.
